The Mil-Tec Basic CWU is a US-pattern flight jacket in olive. The shell is 100% nylon over a 100% polyester lining, with 100% polyester filling quoted at 200 g/m² in the body and 180 g/m² in the sleeve. It closes with a strong front zipper, and knitted welt finishes the sleeve and hem. Two patch pockets sit on the side with hook-and-loop closure, and there is a patch pocket on the upper arm with a zipper and an arm office.
Mil-Tec quotes the filling by area rather than by total weight, at 200 g/m² through the body and 180 g/m² through the sleeve, so the two figures are listed separately below.
