This sling is identical to the WW2 issue, apart from the slight ridge on the metal buckle, which was a feature of post-war Garand slings
The M1 Garand Webbing sling was also used wth the M1 through to the M9A1 Bazooka.
Made from 100% cotton webbing in green, with steel fixtures.
The sling is 106 cm long and 3.5 cm wide.
